Hello Nothing Developers!
Here a user with a Nothing Phone 2a+ since November 2024. I must say that is a nice experience to recieve every 2 months a software update as promissed by the brand. However, some bugs are still in the smartphone I here are my comments (it is supposed that an OTA will be released in a month…).
- Lock screen: There is an issue with the tint/colors. It has a faded color until the terminal is unlocked.
- Gestures navigation: I don´t know why, but when using the gestures navigation, some apps interact just before the gesture comes into play. This happens with the return and swipe gestures. Above all it happens in Google Keep, Google Tasks and LinkedIn. I suffered this issue also with an S23 and S24 Ultra, the problem was solved in that case with an OTA, changing from OneUI 7.0 to OneUI 8.0.
- Camera lag: I found how to “solve” at some point: Enable the variable refresh rate and setting in 120Hz. The lag is still there, but it is manageable for the user.
- Autobrigthness: It needs a lot of time to increase the panel’s luminosity when you take it out of your pants pocket or backpack.
PD.: I´ve been in touch with Nothing Support, however, the possible solutions given by them (restart, clean chache, secure mode…) didn´t work.
