Instagram Colour Issue

Hi Team,

I am experiencing an issue with Instagram on my Nothing Phone (2a). After the latest Instagram update, the top and bottom background that should automatically adjust based on the reel’s video color is not working properly. The color change or shading seems to glitch or not match the video correctly.

Device details:

Phone: Nothing Phone (2a)

OS: Nothing OS 3.2

App: Instagram (latest version)

Please check if this is a compatibility issue with Nothing OS 3.2 and provide a solutio

So IG introduced an issue with an update and NOTHING should provide a solution?

That is instagram bug, it is present in my mom’s motorola phone and my alternate redmi mobile. It’s been there for weeks.

Parishith This is the correct answer. Same happens on (3a), on iPhone 16 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro. The whole r/instagram subreddit is also full of people reporting that bug.

Same with mine, nothing’s problem because I did at least 5 update of Instagram. Didn’t happened before the latest os update. If nothing’s problem then report it on the feedback and if Instagram’s problem then reported to Instagram.

Thats Right this issue seen on my cmf phone 2 Pro since monthly.so i don’t know this problem of my phone or Instagram .so it solve early.

In my Nothing phone 3a I got also the same issue in dark mode its all goods when we use light mode then there is issue and also setting tabs also distorted. There are issue in top bar is we see any reels of dark background when we go to home screen of insta the top bar of status also dark and color of battery notification all goes dark
