Urgent Complaint: The Critical Volume Issue on CMF Phone 2 Pro
The CMF Phone 2 Pro has impressed many users with its clean design and features, but I’ve come across a serious flaw that needs immediate attention.
When taking normal calls or WhatsApp video calls on speaker mode in public, the phone does not allow me to adjust the volume at all. This is more than just an inconvenience—it’s a dealbreaker. I take many video calls throughout the day, often in public spaces, and the inability to control speaker volume makes the experience uncomfortable, awkward, and frustrating.
In 2025, it feels unacceptable for such a basic function to be missing on a modern smartphone. Volume control during calls is essential, and its absence disrupts the usability of the device in real-world situations.
This is by far the biggest problem I’ve faced with my CMF Phone 2 Pro, and I strongly urge the Nothing team to prioritize fixing this issue. A quick software update that restores proper volume adjustment during calls would solve the problem and improve user experience significantly.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is a promising device, but until this issue is resolved, it remains frustrating to use in one of the most fundamental aspects of a smartphone—making and taking calls.
