1. Essential Space can now read your clipboard

Copy a URL, text, or even an image. Open Essential Space, and you can instantly create a collection. Analyse, save, and summarise without lifting a finger.

2. Essential Space just got a save button for your edits

Editing text in Essential Space now feels effortless. After editing, a yellow checkmark appears in the top right corner - tap it, and your changes are saved instantly.

How to get these updates:

Rollout will start on 16 September. If auto-update is enabled, no action is needed. Just connect to Wi-Fi and Essential Space will update automatically through the Play Store.

If auto-update is disabled, head over to the Play Store and hit update manually

Rob ⚡️ This is something that I needed from Essential Space for ages, one piece of software that allows users to add different reminders, ideas, URLs and text into one app that uses AI to organise it and analyse it for the user. Better than using Reminders or pasting the link in the Notes app for use later. 😁

Rob ⚡️ ngl i don’t want a extra button to open a note app. There’s so many cool stuff nothing can do this with this button! also the placement of this button is worst i always accidentally pressed it. there’s no point of using essential space if I can’t open the notes on my laptop there should be web or desktop application as well for essential space. I’ve nothing phone 3a I love everything about phone expect this useless button

They don’t want to add it because there isn’t a physical button. Clearly an excuse but understandable. Reason to buy the new phones and to reduce costs of AI

Web version. Make it to be accessible only if user’s Phone is online on the same network or something similar, just please add that damn web version. Until then Gemini is far superior as it can do pretty much everything that ES can - and it has a fully functional desktop interface.

Anonymous931 I agree here. This is one major advantage of macOS/Apple ecosystem.

I have apps on a NP3 with Android. If there is a Apple version of the same app, I can run it on all of my macOS-based computers around the house and have seamless transfer from mobile to computer (and even Android to macOS). This is a far more useful ecosystem. I’m sure I could even set it up to run on my Ubuntu workstations should I really want to.

Brewer Taranov there’s one hundred ways to do it with apps. It’s not sad. In facts it’s the best compromise possible.

NOTHING gets to say every device made has an AI button for investors.

You can take 10 mins and install apps and remap it.

Both parties win. If NTL allows remapping, that hurts the ability to secure funding and they go bust.

Hell, I can even get ES running on my CMF1 (early versions only as it became locked down later.)

Brewer Taranov but Nothing’s vision is AI-based OS and ecosystem. If you don’t like the Essential button — the give the team other ideas on how to implement AI on a phone giving a real experience, not just “cool stuff”.

Мне ни разу не пригодилась поддержка, у меня всё отлично. Зачастую хватает спросить/написать здесь. И да, я лично реально использую Essential Button и Essential Space на регулярной основе. Вместо планера, хранилища важных идей и мыслей, коллекций фото. Как я раньше жила без этого на Samsung — теперь уже без понятия. Но стало намного лучше. И если таких функций будет и больше — я буду только рада. А вам лишь бы всё переназначить. По вам 4pda, xda и рут-права, похоже, плачут. Спасибо, надоело с этим играться.

themountofmint рутовать телефон - дичь. А вот 4pda прекрасный сайт. Плюс, я не отказываюсь от того, что кому-то необходимо делать заметки постоянно. Например вам. Но кнопка находится не как у конкурентов, слева вверху, где на неё можно нажать только специально. А под самой используемой кнопкой выключения. И это решение, простите, дурно пахнет.

Если в np4 - 4a кнопка уедет вверх - ради бога. Даже отключать нет смысла. Пару раз в неделю записать список покупок - милое дело.
