Rooting My CMF Phone (2) Pro: Questions about Updates

I recently got my hands on the new CMF Phone (2) Pro and I’m considering rooting it. My main goal is to customize the phone by removing some pre-installed system apps and improving performance.

While I’m excited about the benefits of rooting, I’m a bit concerned about how it will affect future software updates.

I have a few questions for anyone who has experience with rooting this device:

Will rooting the CMF Phone (2) Pro stop me from receiving official OTA (Over-The-Air) updates?
If it does stop OTA updates, is there a simple and safe way to manually update the phone?
Are there any other major issues I should be aware of before and after rooting this particular device?

AngryCreation (1) as much as i know you can’t update any rooted phone with OTA update…it requires digital signature of your phone to get and update with latest update…

(2)If you can bypass the digital signature thingie… and start OTA update manually…it will fail… you can find OTA update files easily on GitHub but rooting is the issue here…

(3) You can’t use any banking apps on rooted devices …

You can easily unroot your phone with official stock firmware files…

(Rooting a phone is very risky and can brick your phone if you don’t know how to do it…so please read all instructions and then proceed)
