The music widget is not working in 2.5.1 after resetting the device. The music widget is unable to identify music playing in media players (Spotify, Saavn) in the background even after giving all the required permissions. It has stuck on the play screen.
 
I have tried reinstalling the program from the Play Store after uninstalling it and also after resetting the device, but nothing is working.
 
The issue has been observed after just resetting the device; however, before resetting, it was working fine.

Note: The device was not in silent mode.

Hello! Any luck with fixing the issue? Currently on Nothing Os 2.5.2 and I seem to have the same problem. The widget is not working with every music app (tested Spotify, SoundCloud, YoutubeMusic)

    was facing the same issue, but updating spotify fixed it. I was noticing that the background image on the notification media player was blurry for me and that’s when the widget also wouldn’t load the album cover. updating spotify fixed it all. Nothing OS 2.5.4

    Updating Spotify app on playstore fixed this problem for me

    My solution was to just reset the entire launcher by clearing the user data of the launcher, that worked but I also had to redo my home screen.
