Gesture Navigation Glitch

I’ve been facing another glitch in the OS while navigating the system using gestures. All the gestures would work normally but then suddenly I wouldn’t be able to access the recent apps (background active apps) by swiping up from the bottom and holding. This is not a first and happens a lot, the only fix being rebooting the device which is very irritating.

Smooth System navigation is a very basic thing that any os should do without any kinds of glitches at all but here I am, stuck with this. My father also has a Phone (2) with the same 12/256 GB config and he has also encountered the same issue multiple times and it’s a lot worse for him as he’s almost 60 (I’ll probably be getting a S 24/25+ for him so that he isn’t bothered by such things).

If anyone has a solution, a more permanent one than rebooting the phone again and again, please do tell.

I had the same issue, sometimes multiple times a day. I think opening other apps fixed it sometimes. Or apps that were already open in the background, don’t remember. But it was fixed in the September system update for me. Works every time now. Check if you have a pending system update.
