Hi everyone,
I’m using a Nothing Phone (1) here in the Philippines (Nothing OS 2.5.5, Android 14), and suddenly my phone stopped detecting any SIM card.
What I’ve tried so far:
Tested both SIM1 and SIM2 slots → no signal on either
Restarted with/without SIM inserted
Tested the SIM cards on other phones → they work fine (so not a SIM card issue)
Saw on Reddit and other forums that both Phone (1) and Phone (2) users are facing similar SIM/signal issues after the latest update
Now I’m not sure if this is a software bug in 2.5.5 or some kind of hardware problem (SIM tray/reader). Signal is pretty important here, so it’s really frustrating not being able to use mobile data or calls.
Has anyone else in the Philippines (or elsewhere) had the same problem? Did you find a workaround or fix (maybe rollback, reset, or service center help)?
