ca11mejp You’re right - LLM processing isn’t free, and we think about this a lot.
With Essential Space, there will always be a free tier. We see it as a core part of the phone, not something you “lose” behind a paywall. Yet, probably, much like other LLM providers, we will have professional features added to a paid tier over time.
For Playground, our principle is to democratize creative power, not put a price tag on expression. Full-on monetization of creation itself doesn’t feel like the right step forward. Where we might experiment is with optional premium tiers that unlock deeper personalization or pro workflows.
In general, the baseline experience - including Essential Space and Playground - will remain accessible. We will be thoughtful about this, and we’ll give users choice, not lock-in.
