I think Nothing company need to start focusing on Smart Lens bcz they may easily replace phones in future. Like see few yrs back wireless charging wasn’t common even in flagship phones, but now even budget phones like Infinix started giving wireless charging. Same thing can happen with smart lens too — right now it looks like a “future tech” but once it comes in market properly, everyone will jump on it.
Imagine having a lens that can show notifications, messages, maps, and even take pics or record videos just by blinking or giving voice commands. No need to carry a big phone everywhere. Nothing already focuses on design, minimalism, and user experience — so if any brand can make smart lens actually cool and practical, it’s them.
They can easily connect these lenses with Nothing OS and other Nothing products like Phone and Ear, making a full ecosystem. For example, u can control music, reply to messages, or open camera just through eye movement or gesture. That’s literally next-level stuff.
Tech is moving fast. Phones will soon feel outdated when AR (Augmented Reality) gets more powerful and compact. Companies like Meta and Apple are already trying in AR glasses, but Smart Lens can take that idea to next step — no frame, no glass, just lens in ur eyes.
If Nothing starts research early, they can lead this innovation just like Apple did with iPhones.
