This is my initial, hands-on, honest thoughts from my first few hours with the CMF Headphones Pro.
TL;DR review at the bottom of post! 👇👇
😎 Design
Simple design and true CMF style, design is minimal, elegant and practical. Replaceable and interchangeable ear cushions are available in a variety of colours to add your own unique look and colour combinations. I’ve noticed the Matt finish of dark grey picks up fingerprints a little, but easily wipes off. I like the silver accents of the microphones.
🤌 Feel
The ear cushions are extremely soft and provide an excellent seal around the ear. Headband is flexible yet suitably springy, again supporting a solid seal around the ear providing a shake-proof, secure fit. Adjustable depth on the headland into the speakers allows it to match and fit your head size for fit. Headphone Pro is lightweight and feels solid in hand and on head, first few hours, no issues or discomfort which is good given headphones aren’t generally my go-to for audio.
🎧 Sound & Function
Sound quality is excellent, no complaints yet.
Headphones Pro provide a full, crisp & clear sound. The NothingX app provides a personalised sound test to support/adjust sound profile to your own individual hearing preferences. All controls are physical, which (thankfully) reduces risk of accidental presses common in touch controls easy to find through touch. So far, I’ve opted to switch to LDAC from default AAC codecs and personalised sound on. Noise cancellation is good so far, transparency works well, however, need test this more over the next few weeks in different settings. If you like loads of bass, these can pack a punch if you want that!
TL;DR
I like them a lot. They sound great out of the box, better when tweaked. Comfortable feel, minimal and FUNctional design with options to make them your own in look, controls and sound. £79 sounds great!
