Got my hands on the Nothing Phone 3 recently, and after using it for a month, here’s what i feel

I got this as a review unit from Nothing (not paid) to test and share my experience, Big thanks to @Nothing @Deepanshu_Saini_ for sending this my way

Build & Design – The first thing that hits you is the design. The aluminium frame and glass back give it a proper flagship feel. It’s a bit smaller than the 3a, which actually makes it compact and easier to use. I’ve been using it without a case, dropped it once too 😅 and still no scratches or cracks. The back glass feels really tough and scratch-resistant. And honestly, wherever I go, people notice the phone — it grabs attention like crazy

Camera – It’s got a 50MP triple camera setup, and the photos look great. The macro shots are insane, super detailed. The selfie camera is decent but could use a bit of improvement. The only place where it falls short is video — it should’ve been better for a flagship. In low light, the grains are too much, and that really needs fixing. But overall, for photos, this is one of the best cameras I’ve used recently.
Here are some samples

Display – The AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate is smooth and vibrant. The thin bezels make it look even more premium, and brightness is solid both indoors and outdoors. The Gorilla Glass protection gives some confidence to use it without a case

OS & Performance – I’ve been a Nothing OS 3 fan since my 3a days, and this version feels even more polished. It’s clean, minimal, and smooth with no major bugs. Updates arrive on time, and overall, the experience feels refined — not overloaded like most Android skins.
Glyph Lights – Thought they were just a design gimmick, but turns out, they’re genuinely useful. I often keep my phone on the table during class or editing, and flipping it to silent mode while still seeing who’s calling is actually handy. Small touch, but makes a difference

Battery – The 5000mAh battery easily lasts me a full day, even with camera-heavy use. Charging speed is fine, not the fastest but more than enough for daily life.

Heating – My only real issue. I don’t game, but even while charging or editing photos, it gets really hot — sometimes almost untouchable.
Final Thoughts (After 1 Month)
I honestly love using this phone. It looks amazing, feels premium, runs smooth, and takes great photos. The macro camera, build quality, and OS experience are my favourite parts.
The only areas that need improvement are the video quality in low light and the heating.
