I don’t know what connectors tablets use for keyboards, but if a phone had a USB connector on the back, makers could adapt a LoRa node to connect without a built-in battery. Most Meshtastic devices connect over Bluetooth and have to charge every few days. A magsafe device that uses the phone battery could be thin enough and convenient enough to carry every day.
