I’m addressing this for the second time with a hope that the team will acknowledge it. The Camera of Nothing Phone (2) is average as compared to other phones in this price range. There so many features missing here and some of them are very much basic settings.

1. Night Sight On/Off toggle

2. Hdr On/Off toggle

3. Pro Video mode

4. Log Video mode

5. Anti-Banding settings

6. Focus Peaking

7. Timed Burst Shoot mode

8. Long exposure modes.

Auto Hdr mode is a mess and inconsistent. When taking group selfies the Hdr becomes horrible and most the time the output will be of no detail.

So team please give Phone 2 users a major camera Improvement with these features.

I second this.

Especially the HDR toggle. For me, HDR at night(even slightly dark conditions) crashes the camera app and phone hangs. Switching off HDR would be easy solution for this problem.

    Had used Asus 6z perior to NP2, I felt camera processing was way better in that when compared to NP2 even after OS2.5, instead of bring new features can work on optimising camer software processing mainly on HDR processing its very bad when condition becomes tough and edge detection is also bad on potrait ( only focus happening on center of the frame).

      ayeshsalah Yes. Tbh i felt very much angry coz of auto hdr on selfie cam too, it ruined one of my favourite moments with my friends. We took 3 selfies and it’s a complete mess. Lag btw consecutive clicks is also a nightmare.

        Batman_1224 The Hardware is awesome in Phone 2, but it can’t achieve it’s full potential. These “Suggested Camera Features” are very basic. Even my 3yr old Poco m2 pro had these.

          I would add support for external microphones. This is crucial for many content creators.

          GCam and Filmic Pro are alternative options of course but, in my opinion, its a functionality that should be present in the Nothing camera app
