How to transfer data from phone with unresponsive screen? - help

Hallo, mein CMF Phone 1 wurde heute bei der Arbeit *zerstört*. Der Bildschirm ist zerbrochen und zeigt kein Bild mehr an. Es reagiert auch nicht auf Berührungen. Ich habe das CMF Phone 2 bestellt. Kann ich meine Daten von meinem Phone 1 übertragen, ohne irgendwelche Tasten auf dem Bildschirm zu berühren, oder habe ich Pech? Ich muss wirklich unbedingt meine Kontakte und Fotos aus dem internen Speicher des Telefons entfernen :( Ich lebe in Florida, USA, daher glaube ich nicht, dass es hier irgendwelche Servicezentren gibt, die mir helfen können. Wir freuen uns über jede Hilfe, danke :/

Hello there, my CMF Phone 1 got destroyed at work today. The screen is shattered and no longer displays any image. It also does not respond to any touch.

I ordered the CMF Phone 2, will I be able to transfer my data from my Phone 1 without touching any buttons on the screen, or am I out of luck? I really really need to get my contacts and photos off of the Phones internal memory 🙁

I live in Florida, United States so I don’t believe there are any service centers over here that can assist me.

Any help is appreciated, thanks :/

You could try with usb debugging

If the broken phone doesn’t have USB debugging enabled beforehand, there’s no (easy) way. I had the same case with a Pixel 6a, but at one point I paid 150 euros to replace the display.

That’s correct, I activated it because of this. Lost my data by on my old phone after screen died

Nicky0078 if USB debugging happens to be enabled, how would I go about the process? Would it be through my computer?

Contacts is probably already synced to your google account. I don’t know about the rest of the data

For me easiest way on Linux just mount the device (phone) and you should have acsess to your data… Only you need ADB (android debug bridg)installed before that.

If usb debuging is not enabled. Her’s what I would do. When you get cmf 2 phone it will have same OS. So just buy usbc to usb adapter and plugin a mouse to broken phone. Use new phone as reference and try blindly to unlock broken one with mouse, it shouldnt be that hard to do.

After that figure out whats easiest to do blindly.

I would probably go to accessibility and enable talkback and then using talkback and mouse navigate to disable pin and enable usb debuging.

saxman I dont think I can do this without seeing the screen hahahaaa. my muscle memory is not that good. I wish.

anyways, I received the phone today. I ended up just taking the loss. luckily my contacts were in the cloud and my photos were on my SD card! so a very minimal loss, I only lost my messages history and had to manually redownload all my apps.

it turned out better than I expected. I also love the phone so far! The tap to pay and fisheye camera really were the missing pieces of the puzzle. maybe next time around we can get stereo speakers 👀

Same case with me 😁 but honestly I don’t think so you will need that every thing was linked with my Google account so I didn’t have a problem
