Games getting killed in the background

I play Zenless Zone Zero which is very taxing on the processor (CPU/GPU constantly at 90℅) and if I just take a screenshot and click the editor, it closes the game.

I can’t change nothing x settings (no lag mode on CMF needs to be turned on again if you disconnect) or reply to a message unless in popup view. Putting the game itself in popup while switching works for a minute, but if I don’t maximise it quickly it again closes.

Battery optimisation is set to unrestricted and game mode’s “performance mode” is turned on. The OS never kills my other apps running permanently in background, and they have those same settings.

is it a heat issue.

on my NP3 when I stress the SoC out the battery gets to hot and it kills the app.

I haven’t tried this on my CMF1 to see what would happen.

I have to watch it in action and I get an “Extreme Temperature” warning for 10 secs and then it’s killed.

I would check the battery temp on your phone and see if it hits 55C and that seems to kill apps on the NP3.

CMF1_hacker It never goes above 40 degrees, in fact my phone is hotter standing in sunlight (42) than gaming. But it has killed the app without switching to anything else two or three times, that I assumed was just the issue of the game itself crashing

Anonymous903 can you capture a bug report from developer options and parse that to determine what the exit error is

CMF1_hacker Welp I got into a really intense combat sequence and the game got killed and the wallpaper went to black for a second, which is exactly like my linux pc freaking out over high usage and trying to free resources by closing everything. Taking a bug report now
