Hey everyone
This is my first post on the Nothing Community. I have been using the Nothing Phone 3 as my primary device for about a month now. I have shared my first impressions of this device on my YouTube channel but today I’ll share my review and experience of using the Nothing Phone (3)

Design:
I’ll be honest - at first, I didn’t really like it. The design didn’t feel symmetrical, and that bothered me a bit.
But with time, it’s really grown on me. Now, I actually kinda like it - even admire its uniqueness.
When it’s sitting on the desk, it looks cool - it catches your eye instantly. As a tech enthusiast, that’s something rare nowadays with smartphones. I mean, I have multiple devices here in the studio, but this one just stands out. So yeah, the design felt odd at first, but now… I kinda love i

Performance:
Now, let’s talk about performance. If you’re someone who uses their phone heavily, like I do, this phone handles everything really well. Throughout my usage, I haven’t noticed any lags or stutters in daily tasks.
However, I did notice one small thing - while playing Asphalt 9, it dropped a few frames here and there. Nothing major, apart from that, the performance has been smooth and consistent, multitasking, editing, social media, all handled perfectly.
Software Nothing OS:
This is one of my favourite parts of the Nothing Phone 3. The Nothing OS looks and feels amazing. It’s basically stock Android, but with thoughtful customisation options that actually make sense. Everything about it feels minimal and coherent - from the animations to the clock, the app icons, and the widgets - everything just fits together perfectly.
The animations are super smooth, and there are small details that make the experience even better. For example, when you’re in the recent apps tab, and you want to clear all apps, you can simply hold onto one app, it groups them all together, and a quick swipe-up clears everything, it’s simple, but really clever.
Little touches like that make the OS feel so refined. Overall, I’d say Nothing OS is not just good - it’s one of the best Android experiences I’ve used till now

Camera:
Now onto the cameras and this is where things get a bit mixed. The cameras are pretty neat, but not quite flagship level. If you shoot in RAW and edit your photos, you can definitely get great results out of it.
But if you’re someone who shoots only in auto mode and expects flagship-quality output straight from the camera - this might disappoint you a little. In terms of video, you get 4K 60fps, which is great. The colours look nice, the stabilisation is good, and the overall video optimisation has improved a lot.
But again, for still photos, it’s good enough, just not top-tier. One thing worth mentioning though the macro capability of this phone is actually really good, and that’s something I’ve genuinely enjoyed usin

Battery & Charging:
Coming to the battery, you get a 6000 mAh battery, which is a solid one. As a heavy user, I easily get around 9 to 10 hours of screen time and a full day of usage, which is really impressive.
Final Thoughts:
So… after using the Nothing Phone 3 for about a month, here’s my final take. Honestly, I didn’t really like the design at first - it felt a bit odd, not symmetrical, but over time it really grew on me. Now, I actually love it. I mean, I use a lot of phones, and I’ve got multiple devices lying on my desk… but this one? It just stands out. It’s unique, it’s different, and it kind of becomes the highlight among all of them.
And if I have to pick my favourite part - it’s definitely the Nothing OS. It’s clean, smooth, minimal honestly, one of my favourite Android experiences till now. The in-hand feel too that boxy design, uniform bezels it just feels premium every time you pick it up.
Now, things that could’ve been better? The cameras - they’re good, but not flagship-grade yet. The battery life is solid, but yeah, I wish the charging speed was faster - once you’re used to 100W or 80W charging, 67W feels a bit slow.
So overall, I’d say the Nothing Phone 3 is a really good phone, but not for everyone. But if you value design, user experience, and that minimal aesthetic, this phone might just win you over - like it did for me.
Thank you so much for reading all the way, and if you have any questions drop them in the comments Let’s keep the discussion going 🙌
