Notification delay fixes?

Has anyone found a workaround or fix for the severe delay in notifications?
Is this just what this phone does now?

It doesnt push notifs for chats or emails when they are received, the worst is Whatsapp- I miss calls and messages constantly coz the phone never notifies me, even when I have the app open and i’m looking at it!

I’ve tried resetting notifications and settings a couple of times, thinking theres some kind of conflict, but now I think the phone is the issue.

Anyone found any fixes?

kneenar This occasionally happens to me when my phone is on silent mode and I’m actively using it, and then a phone call comes in. In this case, the incoming call is shown as a small icon in the notification panel, rather than displaying the full screen incoming call. Due to this, along with other notifications, the call often gets missed as it doesn’t catch my attention. However, when the phone is not on silent, the incoming call is displayed on the full screen as usual. The other notifications, however, come through immediately. But I think you issue is different.

kneenar I tried this Reddit trick and yeah, it completely fixed the delay problem for me.

Also, go to App info → Battery usage → Allow background usage → Unrestricted for all the apps where you notice delays.

This trick was a total life-saver - working perfectly now!

Wish- Yeah i definitely dont have silent mode enabled- even when I flip to glyph i expect notifs to come through regardless, then see the messages when I check my phone.

I would be actively looking at my phone, unlocked, waiting for a call, and I would receive a missed call notification timestamped 3 minutes prior lmao. The phone is gaslighting me 😆

I can't do the whitelisting commands atm but I did go into the battery usage menu for Whatsapp and a call came right through. I'm shocked 😆
Gonna wait to see if this will stick + apply to other apps with just changing battery settings but if so- wtf??? Why was this an issue to begin with and why hasnt it been fixed yet?! It's been a literal year now lmao

I didn't for the life of me think it could be battery related. Wild shit.

EDIT: Looks like it's still missing call notifs from Whatsapp and some message notifs from different apps 🙁
