Very slow search Speed in app drawer [Stock Launcher]

I am using Nothing phone 2a. I have been noticing this since quite a while and recently realised just how slow the search speed is in default nothing Launcher’s app drawer search bar when I compared it with Niagara launcher, there it is virtually instantaneous even if I enable contact search. There is some issue with the indexing speed or the default launcher is just not optimized properly for the type of deep search it does for all the apps, widget, files etc. Has anyone experienced the same?

Facing the same issue in nothing phone 3, it take couple of second to load the app list for the exact name i searched for.

Searching in App drawer is totally fucked up. 3(a) Pro.

Same issue on Cmf Phone 1, and sometimes it just shows the same apps for anything I search.

same here on Phone (3). Guessing it's due to the essential search AI, but it's kinda annoying, for now I'm using the google search bar.

Yes, I’ve noticed the same on my CMF Phone 1 The app drawer search in the default Nothing Launcher feels noticeably slower….It takes a second or two to populate results, especially when with the apps Seems like the indexing or background optimization isn’t tuned well hopefully Nothing improves this in a future update because the lag really breaks the smooth experience the phone is known for…!!
