Glyph light is not working properly with the music visualization.
It’s way dimmer and…is not syncing with the music.
Glyph light intensity is also not working properly in the settings.
Hopefully it would get fixed pretty soon.
As for myself…these are the perks for which I’ve bought this phone.
There’s already a post about this and I already stated that the visuals are even better now.
They are not dimmer, they are just completely different than before.
Now the lights actually react to music the way they should, I’d know, I’ve been using Hue lights for music for a almost 10 years now, not to mention other visualizations to music going back many many decades, plus I’m almost 60 now and have hooked up lights to house stereos at the age of 12 so that they’d blink to music, so yeah, I know how lights should react to music.
If you don’t get what I mean, think of a VU meter or other lights on a home stereo for example, as long as music is playing the lights or meters will be on, and spike when music is louder, well that’s exactly how the glyphs are reacting now, whereas before the update they were only 1 brightness, either on or off and just blinking to the beat.
I don’t care what anyone says, they are way better and proper now. The way it should be.
As it is, flashing disco lights are for kids.
Blinking lights to music has been a huge thing for many many decades on home stereos, car stereos, computers, and now phones.
Never heard of it being for kids.

It may be OK in discos but not on phones.
Flashy disco lights are fun & beautiful in dark/light room, halls. It’s like Update 2.5.1 enrolled only Dimmer lights effect for glyph sake
Nothing can provide 2 options in Music Visualisation
1 Brighter lights.
2 Dimmer Effect, which enrolled in 2.5.1 update.
But dimming process should be smooth. As of now it looks ugly.
I like how my lights were before the update. Mine is dim and seems slow as well

Are the glyph lights been dimmer with Calls and Music visualization? Facing this since last 4-5 days and I’m not clear if the phone has the problem or is it because of the update.
Hey, Please check if the Glyph Brightness level is set to Max under Glyph Interface settings.
It started with the update mine is doing it as well
vijay_balaji_b It’s on full , while receiving a notification it’s full bright, Only with call and music visualization it goes dim

I have noticed a glitch recently in my phone 2 glyph light, for any notification most of the times the lowest single light works fine as it has been set but sometimes the whole glyph light pops up for a notification, I don’t know when this started happening or was it happening from the start( btw I am on latest os version).
