Here few more of my thoughts on recent Nothing’s vision BLOWARE Gate. In Evolutionary Biology there is a Dollo’s law, which generally states that evolution cannot precisely retrace its steps due to the improbability of reversing complex genetic changes. Only some instances of trait reacquisition are possible through the reactivation of dormant genetic pathways or the retention of pseudogenes. So, if we assume that current Nothing’s BLOATWARE represents past evolutionary traits already present in other species of the current smartphone ecosystem, resulting in certain evolutionary outcome for them but not for Nothing, then introducing it in a function of reversing to the already established and hence ancestral features (genes or pseudogenes) will - according to Dollo’s law - most certainly not produce the same results as as it does for other smartphone species. It is so because it is impossible to exactly retrace the past evolutionary steps and their present results therefore introducing this #BLOATWARE is an example of reverse evolution, also described as “regressive evolution,” particularly when discussing the reappearance of ancestral traits (atavisms) or the loss of complex structures like eyes in cave-dwelling species, which in case of Nothing’s #BLOATWARE correspond to the loss of the more evolutionary advanced traits of PURITY, being replaced by the past evolutionary Locking Glimps pseudogene (because it does not represent essential system function), determining blind regression to atavism of quick profit making - a similar trait to eating raw meat.
