Pokémon collecting fan-game for NP3 Glyph Matrix

I made Glyph Catch, a Pokémon catching game for the NP3 that rewards you for reducing screen time! Leave your phone down a while, and Pokémon appear on your Glyph Matrix. The longer your phone has been locked, the higher your chance of rare encounters. Press the touch button to catch the Pokémon and build your Pokédex! ⬇️ Download APK from GitHub Pokémon appear based on real-world conditions. Weather conditions boost certain Pokémon types. Zubat comes out at night. Phone running low on battery? Voltorb and its evolution might show up. And with Halloween approaching, you can of course expect Ghost Pokémon. Keep an eye on the daily Trainer Tips in the app for hints! All 151 Kanto Pokémon are obtainable. There’s more to do than just catching. Choose a Pokémon to level up, and it gains EXP while your phone is face-down. Pokémon will evolve when they hit the right level. You’ll also find items, like evolution stones, Rare Candies for leveling, and the Super Rod to fish for certain aquatic species. When there are no Pokémon around to catch, the Glyph Toy displays a handy digital clock instead. I’m binge-watching all the rewievs of the actuall Nothing Phones recently because i want to switch from iPhone back to Android and couldnt decide which to get.

With THIS, you sold me a NP3, thanks! 😂

Have you thought about whether or not you’re going to adapt this to work on the Phone (4a) pro? I’m currently on the fence between that and the Phone (3), I’m just waiting on some hands-on reviews of the 4a Pro, but this could honestly sway my decision!!

Derren I’ve been stuck on 49% for several months now. I’ve got 75/151 Pokémon but I’ve “caught” 1166 as of today. It just seems to be stuck. Does anyone know if there’s a bug or any ideas how to resolve this please?

Finally completed the Pokedex 🥳

First of all thank you for this amazing piece of software.

I’ve just got a NP3 and this app has got to be one of the highlights.

I’ve seen that there is one fork of it trying to add another generation, and I’m also interested myself in expanding the app with Pokémon descriptions and maybe some other small features.

Are you also still actively monitoring this app?

Gen 2 when? 🙂

Is it possible to create an option to “pin” a Pokemon to the glyph matrix? It feels like such a shame getting all these cool Pokemon and having them sit in their box.
