a3chron If Nothing becomes just another smartphone company that makes average phones with average bloatware, ads, chinese spyware and idk what else, then what will keep their fans from just buying a Xiaomi or a Samsung or a Motorola or an Oppo. I don’t care if I can disable all that stuff, you can also disable it on Xiaomi phones, or install LineageOS or whatever. Xiaomi is also cheaper and better at the same price points.
I liked turning on my phone for the first time and not having it try to scam me or hope that I won’t uninstall the bloatware. That’s why I got it. It feels like they are going back on everything Carl said they stood for, and they’re becoming just another Xiaomi or Oppo.
Nothing doesn’t have fans the way Samsung or Xiaomi does. Most of its users are tech enthusiasts, and this would turn away all of them. Nothing just has to hope that somehow average people will start buying their phones now, and I doubt that is happnening
