Why, Nothing, Why? We have CMF 2 PRO with better second camera and various case colours. We have 3a that slightly pricy. Why don`t you just make “phone classic/remaster” - phone 1 or phone 2 based, with more case colours, with modern cameras and hardware. For those who loved you so much in the start for a unique vision of the phone

Stereobasic it’s the way it has to be to accept that funding round, so it’s neither good nor bad, neither smart nor foolish, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

That NP3a(lite) will sell like hotcakes at £/€200, sure purists like us (I bought into the entire CMF modularity hype with the CMF1 purchase, only to be very pleased with NOS on the whole) hate it, but the minimal costs will save NTL to live another day.

One thing that I don’t know is whether CMF spinning off is mandated by the funding round.

Seems like a whole complete step as the Nothing Phone 3(a) is far more superior then the CMF line of devices and with the Phone 3(a) Lite having features pulled from an above phone like Phone 3 and The newer “TruLens Enging”, the ‘Pro’ edition of the SoC is utilized. It looks like a whole other phone, and it’s introduction was perfect.

CMF1_hacker Yes, I understand all that, but it’s still annoying. “No bloatware! Macro lenses are the biggest scam of the century”. And then that. It’s really bad, frankly. So yes, 95% of buyers won’t realize anything and won’t even be aware of all this. But still, my innocent little heart finds it sad.

We won’t get sales numbers, but 250k NP3 sales were required to break even on the project. I speculate that was at OG retail price, so it could have been dire and this 200MM will extend their runway, god I hate that term as it still remains dire.

Stereobasic sure, it’s annoying. I like the turbulence of an SME compared to the static gargantuan firms (Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc…)

So I guess nothing naming suck now. (a), non (a), pro, lite. I don’t care about the specs that much, I don’t mind the design. I have the nothing phone 2, them were simpler times… Same bull as Xiaomi.

What about this STATEMENT ????? Sorry but this is a Phone no one need. The Design is not Nothing like, its to simple and not creative. What about the small LED? Really? I hope this Device was just an Test and an Mistake. You can do it better, we know it.

CMF1_hacker This shows how the 3a Lite is a tweaked version of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. However, I still think that Nothing should have CMF as the colourful and playful sister brand, whilst Nothing has 3 tiers of Phones: budget (Phone 3a Lite), Midrange (Phone 3a/Pro), Flagship (Phone 2 & 3).
