How are you using the essential key?

Just so I can do this better than today, how are you using the essential side quick key?

NishiBhat whenever I find something interesting, helpful or things/ clothes to buy, things I need to remember for later, remainders, I just take a screenshot with it and add it to collections I curated in Essential space with some notes. It's really handy, not essential but handy.

I've been mainly using it for capturing recipes and health advice to get quick summaries for sharing with people in need.

Sometimes, but rarely I use it to capture voicenotes in combination with a screenshot to remind me of a task.

I know you have specifically asked for the use of the "key", but since the last Essential Space update, we got the ability to send URL's from websites directly to the Essential Space to summarize the content of the site. I use that a lot not only for summaries but also to overcome the need to accept cookies from some sites.

I stopped using the Essential Space quite a while ago. I paid more and got Nothing 3a pro instead of pixel 8a just for this feature and their minimal bloatware-free experience. My main concern is that they require full gallery access and are refusing to add an option for limited gallery access.

Yeah that's what i also don't understand.

There is even a whole seperate album for essential space that it itself created, still it needs full gallery access to operate ?

Also internet connection is mandatory for simple text prompts.

I'm assuming they are training there own AI models with the data collected ig.

But I am still using it, because they say this:
