I’m using the Phone 2a, and coming from Realme UI, I’m missing a few features on Nothing OS. Here they are:

1. Who decided to place the “Clear All” button for recent apps at the end? You have to swipe through all the apps to access it. Other brands place it at the bottom for easy access. Please move it.

2. Please provide an option to hide the battery icon (excluding the percentage) and the silent icon.

3. Add more clock styles, such as bold designs similar to those on Pixel phones.

4. “Circle to Search” can’t be used if the navigation bar is hidden. While this seems to be a general limitation across brands, I hope you can come up with a better solution soon—maybe assign it to the power button or use a Google Assistant-style gesture.

5. Please add a Quick Settings tile for screenshots.

6. There’s no way to turn off vibration for back navigation alone. Disabling “Touch Feedback” turns off all haptics, including keyboard feedback. Coming from Realme UI, this feels inconvenient.

7. There are no icons in the status bar when Bluetooth is turned on. This is a feature most other phones have.

8. While there’s an option to wake the lock screen by tapping, there should also be an option to turn it off with a tap. (I’m not referring to locking the screen by tapping on the home screen.)

9. I love the photo widget, but instead of selecting photos individually for the widget, there should be an option to select all photos or an entire folder.

10. The app opening animation isn’t smooth, especially on Twitter. I hope this gets fixed soon.

11. It would be useful if you added an option to display RAM usage in the Recent Apps tab, like in Realme UI.

12. Provide an option to hide the popup rotation icon. It’s more annoying than helpful most of the time.

13 . The default font size on Nothing OS isn’t ideal; it’s too small. When you try to increase it, it becomes too large. There should be an option between the current sizes 2 and 3. (bonus)

The most important one: Please expand your service centres across India. I can’t use this phone the same way I used my old phones because I’m scared of damaging it. The nearest service centre is at least 50 km away.

Two features that top my wishlist for Nothing OS in 2025 are probably:

1. Stackable Widgets: This would let users stack widgets on their home screen, making it super easy to save space and access info when they need it. Imagine having an AI feature that shows the Weather widget in the morning to check the forecast and then switches to a Step Counter at night to see how active you were during the day. It’d make the home screen way more useful and tailored to our daily routine.

2. Custom Refresh Rate Toggle: This feature would allow users to set fixed max refresh rate option (default/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz) for individual apps. This way, users can choose to run an app at a specific refresh rate whenever they want. For instance, if I want to use the Mull browser, I wouldn’t have to wait for Nothing to add support for it in a future update. This would eliminate the need to constantly ask the team why certain apps are running at 60Hz and request support for them.

Is it possible to volume to have more levels of adjustment? For example, the lowest level is louder that what I’ve previously had on other phones.

Want Notification sound for Charging levels. Or feature will enable us to decide till what percentage we want to charge the phone and once it reaches at that set point. The charging will automatically stop which will be great for battery as well. Also Solar charging phone. Also glyphs at the side panels

I wish to be able to allow some icons to keep original format for specifics applications. Still be in black and white, but in original size.

Please make an AOD setting for the CMF Phone 1 and it should be able to use all the different clock types from the nothing OS 3.0

As for charge time, whenever the phone is plugged in it should show the estimated time for full charge.

QUICK Volume Control NOTIFICATION PANEL

If not already designed in the version 3.0, it would be helpful to have a toggle to adjust the media volume in the new notification panel, which can be quickly used even when watching a video without using the physical buttons.

This would allow you to not change the grip of the smartphone and preserve the physical buttons.

I think in conclusion that it is more useful to have the volume control rather than the brightness control on the notification panel.

It would be useful to read in the battery widget the estimated time still available, in addition to or as an alternative to the percentage.

Please please for notifications in the lock screen to be same as once were in Motorola phones ,when by pressing you could see a quick preview of the notification.

I use big fonts thus my status bar icons get big and with battery percentage enabled you get very few icons to show.

Please consider a “battery bar” alternative same as AOSP roms for those who want an alternative to battery percentage. I always thought that this was a cool feature from the rom world.

Dark theme to have also a black alternative (I prefer pitch black (AMOLED) to dark grey)

Why limit dock icons to 4 or 5 max? You can do 6 w/o compromising anything..and please do so…

Ability to change the font size of the clocks available in the lock screen (to show bigger or smaller)
