Glyph Museum is a community gallery for the Nothing Phone’s (3) Glyph Matrix.
Discover, create, and display glyph art designs and animations right on the back of your device.

What you can do:
• Explore trending, latest, and random posts
• Search by posts, tags, and users
• Create your own art with live preview in the matrix
• Assign any design to a frame and preview live

I've tried it and noticed a minor issue.

Editing animations we need a way to apply frame speed to all frames rather than individually doing so.

Basically we need a way to select all and apply settings to all frames like rotate etc.. Otherwise I love the app and have added a few glyphs.

The editor was something I thought we needed on the phone for a long time so great good.

I have a minor issue. When I close the app to stop it running on background all the time the 3 regular frames works fine as usual but for the 3 others obtained by purchasing the perks, there is a lock displayed in place of the choosen glyph. I need to start the app again to make them works.

pauwma I made some try. So it's now for 2 frames (social and popular). when i slide down the control/ notification panel and then at the lower part there is the active application tab. Then i choose Museum and click to close the app.

At this moment the glyphs are still showing, it's only the "showing animation to unlock" feature that don't work anymore and it's logical as the app is terminated.

So glyphs for all frames still working fine. But if I let the phone aside, side down with screen off on stand by, then after around 10 or 15 minutes when I try it again then the 2 frames are not showing glyphs anymore but just the icon of a lock instead. Others Glyphs are still working fine.

So for the problem to occur, the phone needs to be locked and in standby mode for a while.

pauwma The newest update imports animated images a lot better!

* bug * Unsure if you are aware but if you have one of your saved frames playing (starter, designer, social etc) and you are using the editor and try to preview it (clicking the eye) the glyph matrix bugs and tries to play both animations.

Obviously turning off the glyph matrix before previewing fixes this but is there a way you can make clicking preview stop current glyph toy and preview the edit?

Also would there be a way to clear all frames/delete animation?

Also being able to select all frames and nudge them in a direction could be useful.

I've gone ahead and decided to support the app as I believe it fills a role nothing missed out on with the glyph matrix.

A preview priority system has already been developed and should be included in the next update.

Love this so far! Went ahead and became a supporter. Happy to drop a simple $2 on this. Would love to be able to add sound to a matrix and download that file. That way we can upload it on settings for calls or notifications. Would be a cool feature!

is the purchase tied with the login or playstore? can i just login to lets say github -> purchase -> then logout and can i restore purchase after reinstalling the app without logging in.
is it necessary to select the glyph toys to see the animation or will it trigger automatically as long as it is one of the glyph toys? i am currently using the pokemon capture glyph toy and setting it as always on display
is the charging animation one off or continuously?

xxx_xxx Don’t worry about the number of questions, it shows interest, and I appreciate it 🙂.

1) Purchases: The supporter tier is linked to both your Play Store account and your Glyph Museum account. You need to stay signed in to access the benefits. Right now you can’t buy while signed in (e.g., with GitHub), then log out and still restore the purchase after reinstalling without signing in. I’m exploring ways to improve this for future updates.

2) Displaying Glyph Art: The design needs to be assigned to a frame to appear via normal toy activation, Always-On Display (AOD), or action effects (torch, charging, unlock).

3) Charging animation: Its a one time display when charging starts, it can display static frames for 1 to 5 seconds and animated ones from 1 to 5 loops.

I think you should discuss with the NOTHING team about embedding this into Playground/NOS4.0 as that will essentially be a platform for sharing Apps (widgets), EQs, Camera Presets and Glyph toys.

This is a perfect addendum for the PLAYGROUND.
