Is it possible to turn this new feature off? I like to just pull out my phone without turning it to see if a have an important notification but with this new feature the glyphs don’t seem to turn on until I’ve pulled it out of my pocket, turn the screen on and off again.

code913 ….sorry, but, this is your phone, and they just protect you before your own mistakes. I know many similar people claiming “it is my device, my decision, my risk” and then they try to claim damages from the device/SW manufacturer, saying that the manufacturer did not protect them enough. Do whatever you want, but there will be consequences. It is only your decision.

Interestingly, many of the content creators on YouTube and Twitter have already got the update; it might be just a coincidence, though, so we will wait patiently until it rolls out to the rest of the users smoothly

georgios1 To be honest I hope they stopped the roll out to fix the glyph interface and essential notifications. It need to stay like it was before, just adding new possibility you can be able to choose or not, like the pocket things, turn to glyph etc. Please don’t break what is the selling point of the phone.

Hi I just bought a nothing phone 3 and I checked my os and I’m still on 3.5 I checked for updates via the phone system and it’s saying it’s up to date with no updates needed? Has the 4.0 global update been released?

I felt after update the video playbacks are not happening in some games.
For eg shadow fight 4 game, they have video playback to check winning stance or celebration. After watching the demo you can choose to unlock them but the videos are not playing anymore after update.
Before OS 4.0 it was working fine.

did someone encountered battery drain problem since the OS update?

Curiously, I did not experience this battery drain issue when I was using the beta build of the operating system.

Yes, do a discharge to 0, during switch off charge your to 100% and wait bit longer for more than 15 minutes

This worked fore, i am getting easily 8 hours SOT on wifi with average brightness of 35

Same here. Since the update, my battery drains completely during Teams meetings.

I really hope the dev team fixes this as soon as possible, because it’s not acceptable the way it is now.
