A fairly widespread error with Android Auto
I had never had Android Auto fail me, neither with my Phone (2) nor with the Phone (3) on NOS3.5. However, now, while driving with the phone connected by cable or Wi-Fi to my car’s screen, using GPS (navigating with the Waze app), the car’s screen freezes after being connected for about 20-40 minutes. The music keeps playing, it doesn’t disconnect, the image stays stuck. No matter how much you touch the screen, it doesn’t respond. You have to disconnect the phone from the car and reconnect it (or turn the car off and on). This is quite serious because you don’t realize it’s failing since it doesn’t show—it music keeps playing and visually the map continues to display.
I’ve already read in the Spanish-speaking community that this happens to quite a few users in the same situation, after about 30 minutes of driving, it locks up.
