Nphone2: essential search not working

I tried using essential search it is not working, in beta4.0 i thought it should be broken but today I installed stable version of N4.0 on my nothing phone 2

also on phone 2a plus. I don’t get it, a few months ago I installed essential search as APK on my phone and it worked with all its features (including the AI features), but then it suddenly became just an app search without any update or so.

I hoped, that it would come back after the full release of the update since it was a very useful feature for me and I used it quit a lot, but sadly nothing happened.

Any idea why?

Jasonnnn the phone 3 users can explain this if they have this feature still now there must be 2 possibility

Only for phone 3 series
Or it should come in future update

If not it should be discontinued

I think you’ll receive the essential search update via play store after a while. maybe?

If I remember correctly, when I updated to 3.2, I had to update the launcher and some other system apps via play store to get the app drawer changes.

Not working in phone 3a as well. Also essential search app in Playstore says device not supported

RamakrishnaArumugam might take a while, I’ve seen some 3a users say they got essential search.
