I honestly haven’t found many issues in this update.. To me, this feels like the best update rollout so far for the NP2. After updating I did a factory reset, nd the battery backup is definitely better than the previous update… The camera feels slightly tuned, but not by much nd to be fair, there isn’t much more they can do with it anyway. Since this is the last major OS update, I really hope the team puts more effort into making this device as good as possible.
My main concern is still the CPU throttling. The performance graph is all over the place, and it’s not just my unit , I confirmed with several others on Discord who have the same phone. It’s clear tht this chipset still isn’t optimized properly. Still overall this update is better than the older ones, so I can appreciate that improvement..
But please remember this is the last major OS. So we users deserve proper, stable, and optimized updates, especially for performance. It’s been two years nd they still haven’t sorted that out.
I use GCam anyway, so I’m not expecting much on the camera side , I know those tweaks are mostly formalities…
Just a reminder to the team if this really is the final major OS update, then please work on this device properly…
Focus on every part of it, take user feedback seriously nd tune things better. My only long-term complaint has been the same for two years this chipset is still not optimized. I don’t know why, or if there’s something going on in the background, but I hope they finally fix it…
