I am reporting a recurring issue that started immediately after my phone was updated to Android Version 16.
Since the update, my phone’s Bluetooth functionality has become unreliable and difficult to use. The problem occurs consistently across different sessions and devices.
Issue Description
When I connect my phone to a Bluetooth audio device (for example, CMF Buds 2 headset):
The device shows as successfully paired and connected.
However, the audio does not automatically route to the headset and continues to play through the phone speaker.
Audio only switches to the Bluetooth headset after I make or receive a call.
This happens every time I connect.
Additionally, while using the headset, the Bluetooth connection frequently disconnects and reconnects on its own, which is very disruptive and frustrating.
Additional Notes
I am unable to provide screenshots because the device shows as connected — the issue is specifically with audio routing and unstable connectivity.
This issue did not exist before the Android Version 16 update.
Restarting the phone, reconnecting devices, and re-pairing has not resolved the problem.
Expected Behavior
When a Bluetooth headset is paired and connected, audio should automatically route to the headset and stay connected without interruptions.
Requested Action
Please investigate this issue and provide a fix or guidance as soon as possible, as it is significantly affecting normal usage.
