Is anyone else feeling like the “Stable” updates are just glorified Betas right now?
I updated my Phone (2a) to the Open Beta out of excitement, and I forgave the bugs then. But moving to Stable 4.0 has been a disappointment. The software currently feels unpolished, almost like a cheap ROM, rather than the unique experience we all paid for.
Here is what I’m facing:
- Theme Glitches: The notification shade gets stuck in Dark Mode during the scheduled switch to Light Mode.
- Broken Automation: The “Extra Dark Mode” doesn’t trigger during the scheduled time. I have to toggle it manually every single night. What is the point of a schedule if I have to do it manually?
The worst part? When I contacted support, they tried to tell me this was a “Feature.” Sorry, but if a feature breaks the seamlessness of the UI, it’s bad UX, plain and simple.
@Nothing Team: We stick with this brand because of its uniqueness. Please don’t lose that polish. We need these fixed to get the true Nothing experience back.
