To cable or not to cable?

My answer is that we don’t need a cable. Most of us have one or more USB-C cables for our various devices (even Iphone Boys 😆 )

I use the cable from my smartphone to charge my Ears(1) case.

Although I don’t use wireless charging yet, as I have an OP7T, as soon as I get the chance I will use it.

And for the next Iphones sold and delivered in Europe, they will, according to the EU, have to be equipped with USB-C cables, but it’s not for tomorrow!

Rudi I use the supplied cable to charge the Ear(1) case. I would like the cable to be Type C to Type C rather than Type A to Type C in the future iteration of the Ear(1)'s. Though I like the cable, I personally want a Navy Blue/Deep Blue/Mint charging cable with the Ear(2)s and across the product line. Thanks!

Yes, most of the time I use the original one by connecting to my laptop(Because that’s where I spent most of the time in a day 😋). But, when it’s the time I’m not on my laptop, I used to charge ear(1) with my phone charger cable directly.

PS: I miss a cable usb-c to usb-a for datas (for modding). This is just power or also datas?

Personally, I’ve never used the cable that comes in the box of my ear(1)'s. Maybe one day I will, but I’m only charging the case using my wireless charger at my work desk. However, for a phone that might be a different story since the wireless charger is a bit slow for larger batteries..

I was just talking with a friend about this on my Instagram.

Since I use Android devices, already have a USBC charger set up so I just use that to charger my ear (1). If I didn’t I would definitely be using the prepackaged cable.

Use cases for a prepackaged cable may vary. Some people that use Android phones will leave it in the box. Others like myself will put it in a backpack or a travel bag as a back up cable that can be used anywhere there is a USB outlet (eg. Public area, buses, trains, airplanes, coffee shop). Since the cable is smaller it is easier to carry around in a backpack and not get tangled up in all my stuff.

Never used the supplied original cable. 70% of times charge using phone cable and remaining times using car wireless charger. May be different for others but my phone charger is always in power socket, so it is easy to just plug ear1 in that cable. Also, the cable is a bit short. Can be used as a backup cable or power bank cable as @Antonio_Luis mentioned. I think if doesn’t cost much then company can just provide a long cable. Then it can be put more better use by customer.

Form completed. I usually don’t use any cables that come with my devices since I have charging areas already setup at home. 1 wireless charger by the bed and another at my desk.

plus I also have been using the battery share feature on my Pixel 6 pro to charge my Ear 1s a couple of times when I’m not near a charger and in my car.
