The reason I’m completely sold on the glyph isn’t just the functionality—it’s the aesthetic. The way those LEDs blend seamlessly into the transparent back design? Chef’s kiss. There’s something about blinking lights that just hits different. It’s not trying to be an LCD screen or compete with what’s on the front. It’s pure, unapologetic visual communication.
I’m rocking the 2a Plus right now, and honestly, my last upgrade in the Nothing lineup would be the Phone 3a Pro. Better cameras than what I have, but most importantly—it still has the glyph. The real one. The one that made Nothing, well, Nothing.
I get that the Phone 3 tried to “evolve” with the pixelated display, but that felt like losing the plot. The glyph wasn’t broken. It was the signature. The identity. The thing that made people turn their heads and ask “what phone is that?”
So yeah, 2a Plus now, 3a Pro as my final stop. until they bring back the glyphs
