pink lines while scrolling in settings

Also, ich habe nichts 3A und NOS 4.0 aktualisiert Als ich durch die Einstellungen ging, öffnete ich die Speicheroption, nichts schien verdächtig zu sein, bis ich meinen Finger nach oben und unten bewegte. Ich sah rosa Linien im Speicher, die Balken anzeigten (Beispiel: Apps ---- 20 GB). Ich weiß nicht, es könnte ein Fehler oder eine Illusion sein (ich habe den Extra-Dunkel-Modus aktiviert). Wie auch immer, ich wollte wissen, ob es sich um etwas handelt, das die Entwickler verheimlichen, oder um einen zufälligen Fehler, der mir oder irgendjemand anderem passiert. Wenn also einer von euch das Problem hat, lasst es mich wissen. (Bearbeiten: Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass das Video, das ich geteilt habe, diese rosa Linien nicht enthielt … aber Leute, ich bin sicher, ich kann sie immer noch sehen, wenn ich diese Wischbewegungen mache)

Is it me or anyone? So, I have nothing 3A and updated NOS 4.0

When I was moving through settings, I opened the storage option, nothing seemed suspicious, until I slid my finger up and down. I saw pink lines in the storage indicating bars (Ex, apps —- 20 GB).

idk it may be a glitch or illusion (I turned on extra dark mode).

Either way, I wanted to know if it’s something developers hide or a random glitch happening to me or anyone else, so if any of you guys have this, let me know.

(edit: I just realised, the video I shared didn’t have those pink lines in it….but guys, I am sure I can still see them while doing those swipes)

Nikki_941 Heya, I have (3a) Pro with extra dark mode on, but I’ve never encountered this. From the recording I can’t seem to see any pink lines, so I suppose it’s a display glitch.

The first thing that comes to mind is to reboot your phone. If it doesn’t help, it would be best to reach out to the Support team.

Nonetheless, let me know if the issue was fixed🤠

That’s OLED smear.

The pixels turning on and off are causing this effect.

Here is the video taken from another phone.
i have also seen a few users mentioning this pink line while they are using extra dark mode, across different apps for each of them.

Nikki_941 I see what you mean now. Did you try turning off Extra Dark Mode and see if it still occurs?

It feels more like a UI rendering artifact so nothing worrying. But for sure you could report it in Settings > System > Feedback

Yes, I rebooted my phone and guess what…..it still exists.
ya, there are no issues with dark mode…this happens only with the extra dark mode….
okay..I will send feedback to nothing.

Nikki_941 No worries, it sucks that the issue still persists. I hope it will be fixed with future patches. If more people send a feedback about it, it will have higher priority to be fixed💪

That explains a lot……..
So, it’s like a hardware-software related?…..hmmmmm
Software was like ON-OFF-ON-OFF
But hardware was like having a limitation that it couldn’t overcome.
Is this fixable, or does it just exist……

Nikki_941 As @FabioR 🇩🇪 said, OLED displays naturally have this “smear” in very dark contexts.
You can’t really fix this. instead, Nothing should better tune the animation or the tint to make it less noticeable

Leoth Dark mode isn’t pure black by default for this reason only. Grey backgrounds don’t get as much smear. It’s the tradeoff for using extra dark mode
