eSIM on nothing phone 3a

Hey, it’s kinda hard to believe, but it’s there. When I search on Google about eSIM support for my 3a phone, it says the 3a and 3a Lite don’t support eSIM—only the 3a Pro does. There’s even a video confirming that.But check this out: the option appears in my settings!
So… does that mean my phone actually supports eSIM?

Hey, I’m a Nothing Phone 3A (A059) user.
After your post, I checked my settings for that eSIM option, but didn’t find any.
and……idk how you got that option.

Unfortunately, the (3a) model does not support eSim:

What you see in the settings is most likely a placeholder option in NOS 4.0. It could happen that the system shows menu items that exist on other models (such as (3a) Pro)😔

Yes indeed, it is mentioned on the official website for the (3a), under Connectivity tab eSIM is available only in Japan

th3Mor3 Unfortunately I can’t check since I have the (3a) Pro, but with the app “JMP SIM Manager” you can check eSIM compatibility
