From my humble perspective, my truly favourites are (3a) and (3a) Community Edition. For audio products it’s definitely Headphone (1). And I really like their light green colour from CMF Watch Pro 3, this is sooo beautiful.
As for software, I personally happy that my Nothingie didn’t become another Apple-like copy in a software. I really prefer the same stuff for years without changing so that my conservative should can keep calm at least somewhere. I don’t need any glasses and transparency. Just do little improvements every year. I admit, of course, my opinion is very unpopular here, but still.
As for products I’m still a bit disappointed from Phone (3) because I was hoping it will have the Glyph Interface and I’ll buy it as a flagship model (because after owning a Z Flip5 you just want that flagship experience back). Now I got used to see it with Matrix, but still… it’s an arguing teenager bunt, not a bold strong stylish move. As I see.
I don’t understand the meaning of (3a) Lite to come out tbh. Like they separated two brands so now we will see low-budget on the Nothing side and premium on the CMF side? I seriously don’t understand what do they really do rn. And also because I saw how they spend their money. This all makes me wonder how they even surviving and, seems, launching this king of products is like a way to stay alive in the market. If anyone missed, the team likely to release pink (4a) phone along with the Headphone (a) with the same colour. Likely, but might be real.
But stop, do Carl wishes to be like an apple of Android (by his talks)? Then what are they doing? Is that an apple strategy to release more cheap products just for something? No way. It’s, maybe, an apple-quality design (at some point), definitely an advertising, but not in a hardware (then how the lock Glipmse came out), not in releasing units.
Anyway, I’m here with the team, I’m waiting for more essential functions to work in more countries and more to launch. I really want to see their Essential OS to be launched and I still love their advertising and content, because this is what brought me to Nothing. I can only applaud for the marketing team and their creations as I really honestly fall in love with these videos, especially, Essential-related.
To sum up, will see how the next year goes. Keep going, Carl Pei.
