Hey Community!
What a day in Bengaluru! The Phone (3a) Community Edition Drop was nothing short of unforgettable. It was incredible to see passionate community members come together to celebrate a project that was co-created by the community, for the community.
Over 100 community members lined up at the venue, and the energy was through the roof. People were chatting, connecting, and engaging with each other and the Nothing team. Just before opening the doors, I walked down the line giving out high-fives to pump everyone up and then the countdown began.
As the doors opened, members stepped into a creatively themed space inspired by the Phone (3a) Community Edition, with strong 90s nostalgia woven throughout. At the center of it all, we welcomed our special guest @SushrutaSarkar , winner of the Marketing Campaign of the Phone (3a) Community Edition Project. The excitement was real as the community gave him a warm and enthusiastic welcome here in India.
I then had a short conversation with Sushruta, where we spoke about his journey, the idea behind his winning campaign “ Made Together" and how it came to life through collaboration with the Nothing team. We opened the floor to the community for a Q&A, and the curiosity, questions, and inspiration from the audience made it a truly engaging session.
After the conversation, we gathered everyone for a group photo and kicked off a few fun contests, including a photo booth challenge and a dice game using the Phone (3a) Community Edition accessories. Watching members try their luck and cheer each other on made it all the more fun.
At the same time, we opened sales for the Phone (3a) Community Edition exclusively in India. The entire event had an incredible vibe. I personally loved catching up with familiar faces and meeting new community members, it’s always great to connect with you all in person.
