Everything is fine but the password that is displayed when the lock screen is opened Nothing had promised that when the password is pressed manually, the wallpaper effect will appear blurred. I have given him a security patch in September, so I will put security updates in it now.

Pikachu019 i haven’t said i will switch now, i’ve said about the next phone. And it’s not over the late release, it’s: 1) phone 3 which is controversial at best; 2) nos 4 which is more like 3.6; 3) phone 3a lite which is a reskin of cmf, and nothing brand wasn’t supposed to go that budget, they had cmf exactly for that, but now they go chinese moves and release the same phone twice; 4) pushing ai garbage; 5) straight up lying to users, which became the last drop in the bucket. Are these reasons enough for you?

I don’t know if anyone can tell the difference between the coming weeks and jan start like if lying to users had a face. It’s an interesting point that, at least, deserves to be pondered.

Why haven’t they not roll out the stable update together with cmf 1. Like ite feels boring to wait the os 0.4 update which was launched few months back so why could they release it with cmf phone 1

To all the people crying over the delayed update for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, would you rather have the update now but end up with a buggy experience?

Me too have a CMF Phone 2 Pro but I’m okay with a delayed release if it meant having a much smoother and mostly bug-free experience. Earlier releases of Nothing OS 4.0 have suffered from numerous bugs including some memory leaks and battery drain issues.

You guys crying over a delayed release need to calm down and touch some grass. Don’t stress yourselves over a delayed software update.

Based on what I’ve read or understood, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will receive NOS 4.0 before the Nothing Phone 3a Lite. The Phone 3a Lite is scheduled to get NOS 4.0 within the beginning of January, meaning, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will get NOS 4.0 before the year ends or within the first few days of January 2026.

Staggered releases like this are done in order to prevent their servers from being overloaded. Even Google does this with their Pixel phones.

Actually, This update would be the last Major update for the Phone 1, maybe that’s why they be giving it first as to respect it!!!

The Phone 2 Pro is set to get another 2 Major Updates after the Nothing OS 4
