Finally received the NOS 4.0 update in CMF phone 2 pro ✌️. It’s really amazing, new icons, extra dark mode, few new wallpapers and clock fonts and lots more.
And it looks really snappy and fast and smooth just like newly purchased. Even when I multitasking with 4 apps it’s still not lagging. The software stability based on Android 16 is really well it feels like I am using it in constant 120hz mode but I have selected only dynamic mode!
So the wait is worth it.
And for those who were making fuss about lock glimpse! Yes they are disabled by default, and I think if anyone is sane enough they are not going to enable it just to complain about it.
Camera looks good the over exposure thing probably they solved (need to test more though).
2 cons i found -
when battery health is set to a certain % , if you click charge to full this time it will full charge and nxt time when you charge you have to manually set the limit or else it will charge to 100%.
And 2nd one is lock screen clock colour,
It can’t be changed manually. It depends on the wallpaper you choose in background. If a slightly shade of white or grey is used it will be white clock but it would be better if clock colour can be adjusted manually.
Otherwise really great update, Thank you NOTHING community for this new year eve 🎁.
Was so excited but what I have found in the notification! Bloatware installer appservices .
I am disappointed 😞, Nothing didn’t told this upfront about appservices random app installer!
Its notifications can be disabled still. But I don’t know what they will be pushing in future upgrades.
This is not what I expected from Nothing.
I am a fan of Nothing OS and its devices since they launched but this is feeling like a betrayal.
Want to know others opinion about this!
