Hello Community!!
I’ve been facing a consistent issue on Phone 3 where video audio continues playing for a few seconds after locking the screen. This happens with every app that plays video content, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, WhatsApp, the Nothing Gallery, and Google Photos, which makes it feel like a system-level problem rather than something app-specific.
The issue occurs when I’m watching a video or reel and decide to lock the phone. Although the screen turns off, the audio keeps playing for around five seconds. I usually lock my phone and flip it face-down to rely on Glyph notifications, so the delayed audio often makes me question whether the phone actually locked, causing me to repeatedly recheck the screen. After noticing this happen consistently, it became clear that this isn’t user error but an OS behavior.
I’ve used several Android phones before (latest are S21, S22, Razr 60, and many more), and audio always stopped immediately when the screen was locked. Because of that, this feels like a small troubleshoot in the Nothing OS rather than expected behavior, and it breaks what should be a seamless interaction comparing it to the other android phones.
