Oh my gosh the software support is short for CMF phone 1.

Like 2 years! Is that it?

I bought mine in June 2025.

Ok I should have gone for the 2 pro

But still only 2 years of major android and 3 years of security……

CMFP2PRO receives 3 years of software and 6 years of security..

Unfortunately, Android 16 or Nothing OS 4.0 will indeed be the last major update for the CMF Phone 1. Security updates will be supplied until summer 2027.

Noithing overall improved their update policy for this year’s releases, that’s the reason why the CMF Phone 2 Pro offers a much more solid policy than the very basic CMF Phone 1. Nothing actually states their update policies for each and every smartphone quite clearly on the individual spec sheets, so you can check the policy on their website prior making a purchase.
