Bro actually the first time when I contacted them they just avoided me by saying go and visit a service centre. I have send them more than three emails but they avoided by saying go and visit an service centre. After that I have send an email very harshly and rudely and after that they responded me and told me to send them the bug reports and the system traces and some other log reports from my device after remaking the issues we are facing and I just recreated all the issues including the camera issues the battery icon issue, just recreated every issues I know. And after that I just uploaded all the reports and logs to to my Google drive and send them the link. So now the R&D (research and development team) is reviewing it. Actually they are well aware that there are some major issues with the latest update that’s why they told us that there were some complexities involved. Now what we can do is to wait patiently and check for updates weekly for the HOT FIX UPDATE.

In which app you are facing Google Keyboard or any third-party keyboard.

You just want to clear the data and cache files of your keyboard app and after that if it’s not solved then trying restarting your device and even after that if it’s not being solved then the last resort is to factory reset your device. Because this might be an glitch or something because there is no one reporting about any keyboard issues.

Also please check that if your core components like Google Play services and system intelligence are upto date

GocxLUCKY Yeah bro actually not every devices are getting this issues but some…. The issue is actually the Google pre Authentication API is completely missing from the device. I have performed an factory reset to solve the issue after getting diagnostic steps from nothing support and it doesn’t worked. after that I checked the Google pre authentication API and surprisingly they are completely missing from the device 🫠🤧

is it just me or after the Nothing OS 4.0 update in CMF phone 2 pro there’s a significantly faster battery drain observed?? Because I don’t even use my phone on 120hz it’s always on 60hz and before the update I could easily pull the phone for the entire day but after updating it to the latest 4.0 the battery has been draining rapidly even in standby

Bro this issue is already noticed by Nothing team if you want to know more you can check my old posts regarding this issue. And also the nothing support has already handed over our issue with The R&D (research and development team). I’m also facing the Device not certified issue actually it’s an API missing issue the Google pre authentication API is missing from our devices after this update.

We tried everything, but nothing worked. The only thing that worked for him is to contact the Support team and provide a general log. Then they fixed it manually.

Leoth bro I have already shared the Bug reports and system traces and log files and after that they replied me like this. There are also so many other bugs and glitches I have reported all of them. including camera HDR issues and Battery icon percentage consistency issues and API missing issue and some other performance issues and the volume slider and power off lag when clicking the physical buttons

it’s actually an upgradation only in the basis of Android version changed from 15 to 16, other than that there is no upgrades. The features which they listed in the change log was actually an minor changes or upgrades not an major upgrade. I’m actually very very unsatisfied with this Nothing OS 4.0 Updates. While other brands trying to add new features and improving animations and adding new AI features The nothing team is trying to release AI dashboard just for an Essential space and Extra dark mode ( ohh an huge upgrade 🤦🏼) and 2 NEW clock faces 😂😂 they are considering the new clock faces as an huge update. Other than that what’s new on the new update NOS4.0, Other than that there are so many bugs and the funny part is they once stopped rolling out the update when the found bugs on the software and after some weeks the restarted rollout by saying the bugs has been fixed and even after that the software is still having the same bugs and glitches 🤷🏼

why you guys don’t listen to the customers and community users , we were complaining about cmf p2p camera since november but nobody from nothing team listend to us, the problem is universal for all cmf phone 2 pro user camera got worsed and still same worsed in NOS 4 , we have complainted at nov when people are in NOS 3.2 november build and even after getting NOS 4.0 people are facing same camera issues even new issues are popping up, this is all happend because nothing didn’t released beta testing for cmf users plus , plus we want quality update instead of getting gimmicky features .nothing should not compromise features of this phone , plus nothing already compromised ui experience by adding bloatware app called app services ig they didn’t menitoned anything officially about this force bloatware, nothing said after NOS 4.0 update they will add bloatware like insta and other meta services but now they are deciving us they push bloatware and trying to force us to install apps which is not useful just a trash apps

This is very serious guys nothing won’t even listen to us and we keep expecting them to fix it keep giving feedbacks and start tagging them for a speedy resolution the camera issue is from 3.2 and bugs like the play store certification with @Jozf Benestin🇮🇳 is very srs shouldn’t have happened there are several bugs including the battery backup being very low after the update, reported by users like us who respect and support the brand from every way possible but they are just too comfortable to solve our issues.
