I have to say that Nothing phone 3 is the best phone i ever owned in my life in term of design and pleasure of use since my Nokia 3220 ! For me it’s amazing, kind of revolutionary with the glyph Matrix, essential notifications and Generative ringtones which combines utility AND unique artistic visual beauty. To be honest It’s unfortunate that some people failed to see the immense added value, remaining fixated on technical specifications. Absolutely no technical value can replace the experience offered in terms of emotions, ideas, and intentions of this phone. I think they really made a mistake by highlighting Rock Paper Scissors and Spin the bottle, two banal things, without any real meaning and above all not at all innovative nor usefull. There were so many more unique stories to tell than this…
About my experience for the OS, everything is fine, at the begging there was an annoying bug with wifi, but it was fixed quickly. Battery life is perfect, it’s smooth, screen is beautiful, it’s simple, camera is great and with presets it becomes amazing. Perfect. During the Christmas meal, I was the one who took the most beautiful, unique photos, directly, without having to add filters or retouch them. People with iphones etc were very surprised, because those kinds of results normally require to work on the photos afterwards.
Anyway the Lock glimpse drama is deserved, it is a serious mistake to have sought to impose this kind of software on already released phone models, breaking trust and promises. I do not support this way of doing things.
I used Essential space for recording and making pdf of courses that I regularly teach in my work. It was AMAZING, it give a perfect Pdf that you can directly send to students in a second. No one at my work can do that with their phone so easily. And mine does it with “panache”, with the bright red LED and the recording animation on the Matrix.
So so many incredible features, way more interesting and useful than Liquid glass or Blur on control panel… Please just think about it seriously before complaining about everything.
I could go on like this and on. You have to try to broaden your perspective and not get stuck in the negative spiral of social media. Reality isn’t so bad, and Nothing, even if everything isn’t perfect, has done things that no one else has done so far, and there’s a lot of hard work and a lot of passion behind it.
