Google Calculator vs Scientific Calculators
- (Edited)
You are getting your answer in radians (which is 0.398…) so that is correct. But if you want your answer in degrees then you need to click the DEG button on the top left of your calculator input and it will convert it into degrees i.e. 22.831…)
There is a slight discrepency with your Casio calculator still, but checking on several online inverse tan calculators, they calculate the answer as 22.831 rather than 22.391 so I am not sure what the difference between your Casio calculator and other calculators is caused by.
Chris He calculated tan^-1(0.412) with Casio, that’s why it’s different.

burakdede Ah yes, that explains it! Good to see that Casio is consistent with Google Calculator then
burakdede yeah, sorry, I didn’t check the exact input done during my practicals. Thank you
