Daniel feedback page is not working in nothing phone 2a, i have mailed them and shared the log too but they said they will contact if any information needed

The first point mentioned in the changelog was to move the battery percentage within the battery indicator , which worked perfectly fine.

PS: But if you look normally once you slide the notification or setting panel from the top , it is still same. Voila !!!

Nothing is no more being consistent with the change, at one part changes reflect , in the other segment it is still same.

Not sure about the purpose now

Issue Summary

The App Drawer search functionality does not work as expected. When typing any app name in the App Drawer search bar, the typed text is not visible, and no matching app results are displayed, even though the keyboard input is active.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the App Drawer

2. Tap on the search bar

3. Type any app name (for example, “gmail”)

4. Observe the behavior

Expected Behavior

- Typed characters should be visible in the search input field

- Matching applications should appear in real time

Actual Behavior

- Typed text is not rendered in the search field

- No search results are shown

- Search appears non-functional despite active keyboard input

- I’ve attached a screen recording that clearly demonstrates the issue

- Restarting the launcher or device does not consistently resolve the problem

- This may be related to launcher input rendering or search indexing

I’m reporting this issue responsibly and have not disclosed it publicly. I’d be happy to provide adb logcat output, additional recordings, or any further technical details if required.

Separately, I genuinely admire the work being done on Nothing OS. I’d be very interested in contributing to Nothing’s Android / OS development efforts. Well I think it’s doing great now, my phone lasts about 9 to 10 hours of screen time without any problem now.
