I’ve been using the CMF Watch Pro 2 alongside a Nothing Phone 3a Pro and overall I’m quite satisfied with the experience. The design, battery life, and core functionality are solid for the price, and the watch clearly has strong hardware potential.
However, there are a couple of areas where I really hope to see improvements through software updates. One of the biggest ones for me is haptic feedback. At the moment, the vibration feels too strong and harsh, especially in the silent situations like in the meeting. Softer and smoother haptics would significantly improve daily usability, particularly when relying on the watch for alerts without constantly checking the phone.
Another area is deeper ecosystem integration. Simple quality-of-life features — such as displaying the phone’s battery percentage or charging status on the watch — would make the experience feel much more connected and complete. I’ve had this experience in other ecosystems before (Galaxy) and I believe it would fit naturally within the Nothing ecosystem as well.
I’ve shared similar feedback with Nothing/CMF Support and really appreciate how responsive and polite the support team has been. Now, I’m just hoping we’ll see more visible progress over time through software updates and changelogs for the CMF Watch Pro 2.
Still happy with the product, still rooting for Nothing — just hoping this watch can grow from “good” to “great” with continued software improvements.
Curious to hear other users’ thoughts and experiences.
