After updating my CMF Phone 1 to Nothing OS 4.0, the device has become unstable and unreliable. These issues did not exist before the update.
Problems faced after updating to 4.0:
Screen becomes unresponsive randomly.
Sometimes the display stops responding completely and touch input does not work.
Phone hangs during incoming calls.
When a call comes in, the phone freezes and the touchscreen becomes unusable. This is critical because it prevents answering or rejecting calls.
Bluetooth issues with headphones while playing music.
When connected to Bluetooth headphones, the phone automatically restarts multiple times while changing tracks.
Frequent automatic restarts.
Before updating to 4.0, the phone rarely needed a restart. After the update, it requires restarting every 30 minutes, making normal usage impossible.
Conclusion:
Nothing OS 4.0 has severely affected the performance and stability of CMF Phone 1. Instead of improving the experience, the update has introduced major bugs that disrupt basic phone functions like calls, touch response, and Bluetooth audio. This update feels poorly tested and rushed.
Nothing needs to acknowledge these issues and release a stable fix urgently, because in its current state, the phone is not dependable.
