Never had that “Device Uncertified” issue on my phone, mine says “Device is certified”.

Actually it’s a gamble.

Many CMF Phone 2 Pro and CMF Phone 1 users who updated from A15 to A16 lost their device certification. And many lucky users did not lose it.

Sadly, for people who did lose certification, this 15 January update did not bring back the certification.

Now I’m feeling happy because I made the right decision of not trusting this irresponsible company and keep the A16 update pending for 6 months and stick to A15.

It might be an issue with Google because even some Pixel users are getting the same “Device is not certified” status within Google Play.

Aryan-Chauhan Did you try clearing cache and data of the Google Play service app? Sometimes it can solve the issue. Earlier I had a Motorola device and it had the same issue after updating to a new version and clearing data or play service solved it.

Just google “pixel device is not certified” and you’ll see many posts about that, especially on reddit.

Like I said, if it’s happening to other phones, then it’s an issue with Google, come on.

Before the update, the network used to show 5G+ or 5G++ but now only 5G is showing. After the update, 5G+ or 5G++ is not showing. So fix it

I’m criticising on behalf of people who lost certified status after updating to Android 16.

also the battery drain and other bugs which everyone faced after updating to NOS 4.0?

Note : I am still at 3.2 tho! should i update to NOS 4.0 now?

ArkoIslam i can confirm the camera ui has become smoother than before zoom transitions are way smoother than before but i am yet to test the hdr and night photography

Guys, You should update your mobile to the latest update to get more fluid user experience, smooth animations, and more importantly battery backup is excellent now. Also the tactile feedback, touch response, and camera improvement are out there.

Hey. I haven’t updated my phone since October due to the issues occuring since the November security patch. The phone keeps asking me to update but I keep declining. Should I move ahead and update to NOS 4.0 or keep declining updates?

Is NOS 4.0 actually better than 3.2?

yes the battery backup has been fixed i last charged my phone 2 days ago its still on 60😂 (i have very low usage though)
satisfied with the update till now
